I am a PhD student studying computer science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, advised by Max Fowler. I hope to become teaching faculty within the next few years, so please keep an eye out for me on the academic job market!

As a computer science education researcher with a background in computer systems, I am interested in improving introductory systems courses in the age of generative AI. While many researchers are exploring the role of generative AI in introductory programming courses, relatively little work has examined its impact on systems courses. My research aims to understand how generative AI is shaping learning and course design in systems to identify assessment approaches that support deep conceptual understanding in this new educational landscape.
